Two Pelican Statues Stolen

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten - On Saturday May 10th the man with initials M.M. filed a report with the Detective Department stating that between May 8th and 10th 2014 unknown persons have stolen two four feet bronze pelican statues from his property in Bryson Drive on the Mount William Hill. The statues resemble those that are located on the round-a-bout at the Princess Juliana International Airport. Each statue weighs approximately 100 pounds. The Detective Department is investigating.
