VOICES Host Cultural Ancestral Emancipation Day Celebration on July 1

SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - As we commemorate the 161 year of Emancipation Day, Victory-Over-Justice-Consciously-Eliminating-Silence (VOICES) Foundation is happy to be hosting their Cultural Ancestral Emancipation Day Celebration on July 1, 2024.

With the theme “Ancestral Greatness” VOICES will be honoring Young Entrepreneurs. It is with profound gratitude and appreciation that these Youngsters are being honored. They are dedicated and committed very passionately about their business.

Don’t miss the opportunity in the honoring of our Young Entrepreneurs who are truly the successors of our “Ancestral Greatness”. It’s a family fun day and the general public is invited on Monday, July 1^st at 12:00 noon. Tell a friend to tell a friend and come out to the Emilio Wilson Park in your traditional clothes. Bring your blankets and enjoy local food, drinks, arts and crafts from our vendors. You will be entertained by DJ Pebbles, Tyler Percival, Patou “Katoow” Piper and New Generation Status Drum Band.
