Introductory meeting for new volunteers for ESF-7 set for Thursday

SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - The Emergency Support Function 7 (ESF-7) team is excited to remind and invite all interested parties to our upcoming introductory meeting for new volunteers. This session is scheduled for Thursday, July 11th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Government Building in Conference Room 1.
We are encouraging faith-based organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and individuals who are eager to contribute to the safety and well-being of St. Maarten's residents and citizens during and after disasters to attend this important meeting.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about how you can make a significant impact in our community.

ESF-7 welcomes volunteers aged 16 and older (with signed parental consent for those under 18). We are looking for assistance in various areas, but there is a particular need for support in evacuation, shelter management, and mental health psychosocial services. Volunteers will be directly recruited into teams that address these critical functions.
We encourage the general public to come out and join our dedicated team. Your involvement will help ensure that St. Maarten is better prepared to respond to and recover from disasters.
