GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten – POWER HOUR, the networking for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial professionals organized by Foundation INFOBIZZ, has grown to attract a diverse group of entrepreneurs and professionals at various stages of their career. At every POWER HOUR, there is an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals that can help in one’s endeavors as well as gain tips and tricks from those that have reached unique levels of success.
On June 18, 2014 from 7- 9 PM, POWER HOUR will take place at a new location, Dean’s Steakhouse and Seafood in the 3 Palms plaza next to Dominoes. Those who have started their own business, have a business or have been in business can expect an interactive evening that can help them go from ideas to impact.
“Today, being entrepreneurial is much bigger than having a business. It is a mindset that allows one to to transform their current situation by maximizing opportunities irrespective of the limited resources they currently have, such as time, money, connections, etc”, said director of Foundation INFOBIZZ and creator of POWER HOUR, Ife Badejo. “We know that not everyone will be in business. However, we firmly believe that everyone can benefit from principles and practical tips that lead to success in business and that is an entrepreneurial and innovative mind. So we would like to invite everyone who is looking to go to the next level in their business or in their career”, Ms. Badejo said.
The theme for the POWER HOUR is ‘suit & tie’ which is also reflected in the dress code. This POWER HOUR is focused on local experts and one of the speakers that will be sharing tips and tricks is Rolando Brison. As a young and dynamic entrepreneur who is involved in marketing and the gaming industry, he has his developed his entrepreneurial skills by being involved in innovative initiatives that have impacted St. Maarten on several levels. Now, he is the Marketing Director of the St. Maarten Carnival and has coordinated the Caribbean Video X Games on St. Maarten. Other successful entrepreneurs such as Billy D, radio personality and owner of SOS Radio will also be present, sharing how they became successful and answering various questions.
This POWER HOUR is set to be the most interactive yet. “We have incorporated very simple activities that assist everyone to be better networkers. It is said that your network is your net worth and it may be cliché to say that knowledge is power. Still, we believe those two statements are true and these are the two main premises from which the POWER HOUR: Networking for Movers & Shakers has been designed”, explained Ms. Badejo.
